Check Out The Level Of Authenticity In THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE Game

Gun Interactive and Sumo Digital are bringing players to Texas in 1974 and testing their survival instincts. After the great work they accomplished with the Friday The 13th The Game, Gun is now taking on another iconic horror franchise in video game form with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Gun has just released a new behind-the-scenes video showcasing seasoned actors in the horror genre, known for their iconic films.

Known for many horror roles, including Jason Voorhees, Kane Hodder brings his legendary physical acting into the motion capture sessions of this new game. The video showcases a lot of love and detail has been put into these mo-cap sessions to make the game feel as authentic to the original film as possible. Scout Taylor-Compton also lends her acting chops as some of the female victims in the game. Horror fans are definitely going to be spoiled with the quality and authenticity of the horror vibes.

We can also see some snippets of gameplay footage during the 13-minute video and it seems like Friday The 13th The Game has had much of an influence on this new title. The asymmetrical multiplayer game will have a 3 v 4 system as opposed to a 1 v 8 in Gun’s original horror multiplayer title. There is currently no release date set for this title but it is expected to be revealed soon.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is currently in development for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam for a 2023 release.
