The new Robinhood-inspired PvPvE multiplayer heist game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends has been treated with a new video that puts its focus on its Ranger class. It’s the first of many little videos highlighting each of the four playable class types. The Ranger class is the one class that is itself created after the legendary Robinhood and his set of skills. The video has dialogue read over it by the game’s director, Andrew Willans as he gives us a deep dive into what role the Ranger plays during the in-game heists taking place.
The Ranger specializes in being a scout of sorts, watching over their team and the mission’s layout. As the Ranger lives in the shadows and plays for distance, having a keen eye and great aim better be your specialty. Another role that plays into the Ranger’s bag of tricks is the ability to create new paths with ropes for you and your team to take in order to continue a stealthy invasion. Once behind the castle walls, you’ll use your keen eye to tag enemies for your team to avoid and slink around for silent kills.
