I was doing my usual browse of Reddit and saw a trailer for an Indie game that looks like something worth your time! In Nocturnal Hunt, you play a wolf trying to rescue your cub from a bunch of hunters. This requires stealth, using wolf sense, and of course some violence! Here's an official list of game mechanics courtesy of the game's Steam page...
Wolf Instincts
Smell what you cannot see. Discover hidden collectibles, see enemies from far distance and through obstacles and track traces.
Brutal Stealth Attack
Jump onto the neck of your opponent and rip it to death - in first-person.
Decide to Use Violence
As stealth-game Nocturnal Hunt is playable without a single killing. It's up to you if there will be blood.
Distraction
Break bottles to create a distracting noise that will lure nearby hunters. This will give you enough time for sneak behind them.
Rewards
Depending on your playstyle, you'll get rewards in the end. Some are really hard to get.
Hidden Meat
Even a predator like you needs to eat. Find hidden meat collectibles around the area.
I really like the art style of the game, especially the looks of the hunters and forest. It kind of reminds me of Carnevil, but only in style, as this game looks leaps and bounds better than that game looked!
Check out the trailer for the game below, and if you like what you see make sure to track the game's progress on Steam!
