DEAD BY DAYLIGHT Prepares To Join The Next-Gen Gaming With Graphical Overhaul

A game that has reached over 30 million players and has officially achieved cross-platform gameplay has set their eyes on the future of gaming as the next-gen consoles and graphic cards are being released. To prepare to leap into the next-gen gaming world, Behaviour Digital is releasing a series of updates to Dead by Daylight for all their players to enjoy and are revealing them in a series called “The Realm Beyond.”

For part 1 of this series, they are showing the graphical overhaul the game will be getting on September 8th. This overhaul includes so many changes, but what has to be the change I think is the most interesting is the upgrade to the killer shacks that make them unique to the level they are in. No longer will we always have the same poorly boarded up shack with the two doors, one window, and “the god pallet.” Now it will be a building that fits the level it is in and the same two doors, one window, and “the god pallet.”

Seriously though, this game looks so much more creepy with this upgrade and is sure to help the atmosphere be as tense as the gameplay can be at times. Even the generators look way better then they did before. I have to say I like where they are going and look forward to them holding to their promise of providing 4K quality visuals at 60FPS. Plus, current players with the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One that decide to purchase the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X will have a seamless transition as they get the game for free on their next-gen platform of choice without losing any progression thanks to their Cross-Progression system.

Before you go, don’t forget to check out the official trailer for the next chapter in Dead by Daylight’s constant flow of new content. Meet the new killer, an alchemist known as The Blight, and the new survivor Felix Richter. All the perks these two new characters are bringing to the game are explained in the spotlight trailer for the Descend Beyond chapter.
