Documentary Featuring Hideo Kojima Set To Premiere At Tribeca Film Festival

Kojima Productions has officially announced that their documentary film “Hideo Kojima - Connecting Worlds” is set to premiere this month at the Tribeca Film Festival! Founded by actor Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff in 2001, the Tribeca Film Festival has become one of the most popular independent film festivals in the United States.

The documentary takes you on a journey into the creative mind of the most iconic video game creator in the world, Hideo Kojima. Featuring appearances from visionary artists and creators such as Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid, Chvrches, and many others, this visually captivating documentary gives a rare insight into Hideo Kojima’s childhood as well as his creative process from launching his own independent studio and creating DEATH STRANDING.

World Premiere Details:

  •      Date: Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at 5 pm (Eastern Standard Time)

  •      Venue: The Indeed Theatre at Spring Studios in New York

  •      Stage Talk: Hideo Kojima will take the stage at the premiere to share details about the documentary and hold a Q&A session with attendees.

For those that won’t be able to make it in person, there is currently no information on where the video will be posted following the festival. Hopefully, we will find it on their official YouTube channel. As for those close enough to New York, will you be attending this unique event?
