EVA Offers An Arena To Bring eSports And Virtual Reality Together

During the Paris Games Week, the team behind Esports Virtual Arena (EVA) surprised the attendees with the first-ever Virtual Reality eSports arena. During this event, they showed off how they plan to pull these off by having live commentators responding and reacting to the action of the 4v4 matches in a specially designed version of After-H in front of a crowd. With a total of 3,000 players facing off in front of a total of 20,000 spectators, EVA pulled off an unforgettable experience that shined the spotlight on what they are aiming to do.

When asked about the event and what their goal is with EVA, the co-founder of the program, Jean Mariotte, answered: “We are very excited to make every FPS player’s dream a reality and we are delighted to reveal it for the first time at the Paris Games Week this year.” Easy to say, that is exactly what they are going to do if they are able to get this type of event worldwide!

This free-roaming VR experience will be a unique, entertaining experience for players and spectators of this first-class sports show that unlike any other. To further the good news, they do plan to make this public as early as 2020, with the first EVA Stadiums expected to be open to the public in France and internationally. While that doesn’t tell us all the different places we can expect to see an EVA Stadium, growth and expansion are beginning as eSports reaches yet another milestone to further its foundation as a true respectable event.
