In order to announce their release date for the upcoming dieselpunk Metroidvania game, F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, TiGames and bilibili filled their PlayStation State of Play time slot with quite the epic trailer! Showing off the art style, landscapes, various characters, and the most important element - gameplay. It was easily the best trailer this game needed to gain some interest within only a minute of screen time!
It was six years ago when the Machine Legion invaded and colonized Torch City, which was originally inhabited by animals. Rayton, the former soldier in the resistance war, has been living in seclusion since then. After his friend is forcibly arrested, Rayton reclaims his mechanical fist and steps up to the task and journey of fighting back. What he never expected to do was get involved in a bigger scheme between the mafia, the rebellion, and the legion.
F.I.S.T. will launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 this September 7th. The adventure ahead is going to be filled with exploration, intense combat, and challenging platforming sections.
