Blumhouse and Universal Pictures are bringing the fantastical horror video game series to life with Five Nights At Freddy’s. The horror movie is based on the video game franchise that started it all and will feature a plethora of callbacks to the games. The game series was a huge cult hit amongst players due to the ease of mechanics and frightening jump scares. Even the famous YouTuber, Markiplier, grew in fame due to his playthrough of the series.
The film stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) as the troubled security guard that signs up for more than he bargained for as he quickly realizes that the children's pizza parlor is more than what it seems. Of course, survival is key and at night the animatronics come to life searching for fresh blood.
