To coincide with the launch of the new Amazon Prime Video TV series Tales from the Loop, Free League Publishing has announced a new starter set for the award-winning RPG of the same name.
It’s a self-contained narrative, with a scenario called The Recycled Boy, and it’s available for pre-order now.
Like the show Stranger Things or the Paper Girls graphic novels, the roleplaying game involves teenagers who are solving mysteries, but this is an ‘80s universe like no other.
The Starter Set includes a lot in one box:
An illustrated rulebook to learn the game
A complete scenario called The Recycled Boy
Five pre-generated characters ready to play
A large, full-color map of the land of the Loop
Ten engraved custom dice
Players can pre-order the game now, and it will ship in April. But for those itching to get started, a complete PDF of the roleplaying experience will be sent within days of the purchase.
