GEARS 5 Is Kicking Off The Lunar New Year With A Limited Time Versus Event

Gears 5 is ringing in the Lunar New Year with a limited time FFA mode, ‘Golden Gun’. We have seen this mode before, but never in a Free For All setting. Picking up 108 kills in this limited time event will score you thirteen Year of the Rat Weapon Skins (excluding loadout), as well as the Golden Gun Boltok Weapon Skin.

You can find the Year of the Rat skin set for your loadout weapons inside the weekly store for the cost of 500 Iron. On top of the Lunar New Year skins, logging in to Gears 5 today (January 25th) will grant you the Lunar New Year mark and banner stylized after the Year of the Rat.
