Shortly following the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal on Wednesday, it was revealed that we would get to see even more game footage during the Gamescom livestream that took place yesterday. At the head of the event, we were shown the “Perseus Briefing Cinematic”. Pieces of the cutscene were shown off in the official gameplay reveal trailer, but now we can view the scene in its entirety.
The video features returning characters Mason, Woods, and Hudson, as well as some brand new ones talking about the Soviet spy, “Perseus”. It would appear that this scene takes place somewhere towards the start of the game and does a really good job of establishing the setting. On top of that, the game itself looks absolutely gorgeous!
