Get The First Big Looks At WWE 2K24 With WWE Super Stars And Developers!

Xavier Woods, Johnny Gargano, Peter Rosenberg, and the 2K Dev Team

Join WWE's own talent, including Xavier Woods, Johnny Gargano, and Drew Gulak, as they team up with the WWE 2k24 development crew to give us an exclusive sneak peek at the game. In the first part of this four-part series, they dive into a full one-on-one normal match, highlighting the exciting new features that set 2k24 apart.

One standout addition is the introduction of "Super Finishers." In the past, you could store up to three finishers to use in a match. Now, with super finishers, you can unleash a more potent version of your favorite wrestler's finishing move. For instance, when using Cody Rhodes's super finisher, instead of just one Cross Rhodes, you'll witness a special animated sequence with three consecutive Cross Rhodes. Not only that, but the number of finisher/special slots has been expanded from two to five. This means more customization options, allowing players to choose up to five different special or finisher moves per superstar.

The team also sheds light on the special guest referee game mode. Familiar to fans, this mode is enhanced with the return of real WWE referees like Charles Robinson. Players can even switch between wrestler mode and official mode, seamlessly going from attacking to performing pin counts at the push of a button. To add a personal touch, you can now customize your own referee attire or play as any manager or playable character equipped with referee gear.

Responding to community feedback about MyFaction cards, the developers have introduced Persona cards. These cards, distinguishable by a special badge, can be used in all game modes, addressing the desire to take special gear out of MyFaction mode. Not only that, but every other game mode will feature unlockable versions of characters for use across various modes.

Stay tuned for the next episode of Inside the Ropes, where they'll delve into what 40 Years of Wrestlemania means for WWE 2k24. Keep following this series to gear up for the WWE 2k24 release on March 8th for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
