GONE HOME For The Nintendo Switch Has Been Delayed

Last week, publisher Annapurna Interactive announced that the hit-indie game Gone Home would be making its debut to the Nintendo Switch today. Now, the studio revealed today that the game’s release would be delayed to a date sometime in September instead.

Annapurna revealed the news via a Twitter post. The studio did not explain the reason for the delay of Gone Home on the Switch but, the announcement’s caption seemed to tease that additional news would be revealed soon.

Gone Home was initially launched in 2013, and puts players in the role of a young woman named Katie, making her way back home after spending some time away. Upon reaching her childhood home, she discovered clues as to her family’s disappearance and falling out. The game is a mystery/adventure title that features a unique and emotionally heavy storyline that would keep players intrigued as to how the story will unfold.

Gone Home is now available on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The game will be released for the Nintendo Switch on September 6, 2018.
