Warzone is pushing full steam ahead with its battle royale ambitions, releasing new content and updates to the game. The developers are currently working to combat cheating and the game is starting its fourth season and battle pass soon.
It’s a manic game. Most battle royales pit 100 opponents against each other for supremacy and FPS bragging rights. Warzone ups the ante and brings 150 players to the mosh pit that is Verdansk. The map is insanely big. The player count is enormous. And with that dramatic increase in size and scope, the difficulty in winning has increased as well.
A lot of the tactics and strategy in battle royales does not concern shooting. You need to know about every location on the map. You need an awareness of the encircling gas that shrinks the map and forces movement. And you need to know how to rotate and move in a place where there are enemies everywhere.
But…
When you do get into a gunfight, you want every advantage. So the weapons you pick and the loadouts you customize are essential.
And everyone has an opinion. Me? I like the MP7 for close- to mid-range combat, and I currently use a modified M4A1 for mid- to long-range encounters.
The MP7 is an absolute beast. I’ve got the Monolithic Suppressor, the FSS Recon barrel, the Ranger Foregrip, 60 Round Mags, and the Sleight of Hand perk as my five attachments. It makes the MP7 a fast-firing, quick-reloading nightmare for other teams. It can fully kill two to three players with one magazine. I love it.
My M4A1 is kitted out for some heavy-hitting damage dealing. While I still have the Monolithic Suppressor attached, the other attachments are all designed for extending range and finishing off enemies from distance. The Corvus Custom Marksman barrel, the VLK 3.0x Optic, 60 Round Mags, and the Sleight of Hand perk help me to take out someone fairly quickly, especially when mounted on a surface to stabilize my aim.
What do you guys think? Do you use something similar? Different?
Let me know your Warzone loadout is in the comments and tell me your suggestions for making my loadout better.
Good hunting out there.
