While the team may have missed their initially expected launch date by a couple of years, Redlock Studio has officially released Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King on PC via Steam! It has been over four years since I had the opportunity to interview them on their game, but from the release trailer above it seems that they stayed on pace with what was discussed. The only question that hasn’t been answered yet is if they still plan to follow through on bringing it to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date.
Still, players can now take on the role of the wanderer and fight their way through the dark world that was lost due to the disappearance of their king. Mixing together gameplay features of decision-based storytelling, skill-based free-flow combat, and 2D platforming to make up a unique adventure. Are you ready to face multiple challenges as you try to piece together the reality of what has happened to the old world?
