GungHo America has revealed Volta-X, the upcoming Nintendo Switch game that will introduce real-time strategy to the world of mega-robots with melee weapons and big-boy guns.
But mega-robots are nothing without the pilots that steer them to victory!
So it will be up to you and the World Volta Association to make sure the world stays saved. Players will have to recruit a team of pilots, build a base of operations, customize and upgrade your Voltas, and then achieve victory in battles over the threats that would endanger the safety of the world. To do that, you’ll have to successfully command your crew and utilize the strengths of your Voltas.
If you’ve been looking for a new story in the world of fighting robots, this looks to be it.
And it will release on the Nintendo Switch in the summer, so it should be here in the next couple of months.
Do the ideas of base-building and robot-fighting intrigue you? I have to admit. I would probably play this game. Nothing gets me excited quite like crafting my own base and building crazy strong characters for a fight. The amount of time I spent organizing my house in Skyrim and crafting the perfect set of armor is embarrassing.
