Very shocking news coming out of Microsoft this morning as they announced they are closing Lionhead Studios. Lionhead was primarily known for their creation of the Fable franchise, but also worked on games such as Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Looks like the news came to employees on Friday as there has been no activity on their social media since then.
They also announced that they would be ceasing development on the much awaited Fable Legends, and all other projects affiliated with the studio. Microsoft assures the public they are working with employees to find them other opportunities within the company.
