Earlier this week, Motive, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. announced during EA Play Live 2021 the revival of a classic sci-fi survival horror game. Dead Space will finally be returning, this time as a full remake of the 2008 game that started it all!
Completely rebuilt from the ground up, Dead Space is being developed exclusively for next-gen consoles and PC. This remake promises to raise the level of horror and immersion, by utilizing the power of the Frostbite game engine. This powerful engine will lift the dead franchise (pun intended) with all new visuals, audio, and controls. There will also be an improved story, characters, gameplay mechanics, and more.
Navigating the USG Ishimura, Isaac Clarke must fight to survive the horrific necromorphs that have overrun the desolate mining ship. What new twists the revamped story holds, time will tell! Let’s hope this game succeeds in reviving the franchise, similarly to what we’ve seen in recent years from Resident Evil remakes.
Dead Space is focusing on utilizing next-gen system improvements, taking advantage of super-fast SSD technology. Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, we anticipate amazing graphics and gameplay. We’re looking forward to revisiting the epic space horror game, in all its bloody disgusting glory!
