Sloclap’s masterful title, Sifu was an instant hit with combo junkies and fighting fans at launch. It has been revealed at Gamescom 2022 that the title will be receiving a big free update on August 31st. The Sifu community will be pleased to see what’s in store for them in just a few days’ time.
With the Introduction of gameplay modifiers for those that seek a more customizable experience, Sifu’s replayability is about to seek new heights. The new modifiers will allow players to sway in both directions, making the game a bit easier or harder to complete. Hardcore perfectionists can now truly challenge themselves for the perfect run at the most extreme measures.
A brand new scoring system will delight players with rewarding flawless execution. Every single hit will be taken into account and give the p[layer a rank based on performance, efficiency, and variety. Not to mention the inclusion of two brand new skins that are reactive based on gameplay. Owners of the deluxe edition will have access to the Enforcer armor that mirrors tactical gear. All players will have access to the second outfit, Master Hand, which features a trenchcoat and stylish hat. Booth outfits can be damaged as the player takes hits, so be sure to dodge and parry in order to keep your new threads intact!
Sifu is a solid GOTY contender and it is great to see Sloclap showing their appreciation to its fans with this free update. Keep an eye out for it, coming August 31st.
