Hammerwatch II is the much-awaited sequel to Hammerwatch, an action-adventure game developed by Crackshell and published by Modus games. In this game, players will have to fight off enemies while exploring vast worlds and solving problems along the way. Players will be able to use various weapons and abilities to take on hordes of enemies. Players also have the opportunity to craft their own weapons and potions in order to gain an advantage over their enemies.
The game features classic pixel art graphics and smashing gameplay. Players can choose from several different characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. The game also features co-op multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to team up with friends to take on the challenges together. At launch, PC players will have complete modding support, which will enable them to design new levels and stories in the game.
In addition to the standard edition of the game, Modus Games is also offering a special edition of Hammerwatch II, known as Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition. This edition will available for preorder for $39.99 in retail stores and digitally at launch. This version of the game includes the original remastered Hammerwatch as well as additional character color palettes, facial items, and the character voice pack.
Hammerwatch II will launch on August 15th, 2023 for PC via Steam. Fans can also look forward to playing it on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
