More Rumors Emerge Regarding New ASSASSIN'S CREED

We reported earlier this year on a now seemingly confirmed rumor that the new Assassin's Creed would take place during the Egyptian empire. Now, what was initially believed to be called Assassin's Creed: Osiris (based on a Watch Dogs 2 Easter Egg) is now being reported to be called Assassin's Creed: Origins. The game will still take place in Egypt, but it's also being said there will be sections for Greece and that Naval combat will be returning. The game will feature both a male and female protagonist.

The main draw around this game is that it will supposedly feature a non-linear storyline similar to The Elder Scrolls series. That seems like a difficult promise to deliver on considering most if not all missions in the series revolve around sneaking around and killing someone. With all these rumors flooding out I'm sure we'll be hearing something substantial regarding the game come E3.
