MUTANT YEAR ZERO: ZONE WARS Brings Intense Tabletop Battles In A Post-Apocalyptic Universe

Mutant Year Zero: Zone Wars launches on June 4, immersing players in the gritty world of the Mutant: Year Zero universe. In this tabletop game, mutant Stalkers lead daring expeditions into the Zone, battling for valuable artifacts left behind by the Ancients. The game, developed by Andy Chambers, Tomas Härenstam, and Nils Karlén, promises intense skirmishes and emergent storytelling.

The core set includes everything needed for two players: ten detailed 32 mm miniatures split between the Ark Mutants and the Genlab Tribe, along with cards, tokens, dice, a game mat, terrain pieces, a ruler, and a rulebook. The factions offer distinct playstyles—the Ark Mutants are a group of human mutants on a quest for their origins in the Zone, while the Genlab Tribe comprises intelligent animal mutants liberated from Genlab Alpha's horrors.

Accompanying the core set is the Robots & Psionics expansion, introducing the Mechatron Hive and the Nova Cult factions. This expansion adds ten more 32 mm miniatures, along with cards, tokens, dice, a game mat, terrain pieces, a ruler, and a scenario booklet. The Mechatron Hive consists of self-aware robots navigating their place in the post-apocalyptic world, while the Nova Cult is a secretive group of human mutants wielding powerful psionic abilities with mysterious motives.

Pre-orders for Mutant Year Zero: Zone Wars are now available, offering compatibility with the Mutant: Year Zero tabletop roleplaying game. Players can seamlessly integrate their RPG characters into the Zone Wars battles or expand the narrative in their roleplaying adventures.
