Taking an approach you don’t see showcased very often, Purple Lamp Studios and THQ Nordic have released a new trailer for Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake that shows off the many languages the game will be available in. More importantly from this trailer, they are revealing that our beloved underwater friends are voiced by the official Nickelodeon voice actors that provided the original voice for our favorite Bikini Bottomites!
While this trailer is just the same scene over and over in the different languages available, it is nice to see our original voice actors return for an official Spongebob Squarepants game. The full list of Voiced languages include: English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Polish, Hindi, and Indonesian.
If you are fan of the series and are looking forward to this new game in the series, developed by the same team that ‘Rehydrated’ the classic Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom title, then be sure to check out the collectors edition, also known as the ‘BFF Edition’ to get much more than just the game!
Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake is planned to release in 2023 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Those interested can pre-order the game, either standard or collector’s edition, on The Cosmic Shake website now!
