Square Enix have released a new trailer that gives some insight into the latest patch for the hit MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. The 6.3 patch, ‘Gods Revel, Lands Tremble’ is set to go live on January 10th, and brings a sizable amount of new content along with it.

The patch promises new quests in the main scenario. The Warrior Of Light is set to make an alliance with a half-voidsent woman, by the name of Zero. There will also be new side quests, a new 8-player trial, a new unreal trial, a new dungeon and two new raids.

These updates also pave the way for the next patch, 6.35, which promises to add new daily quests and introduce the next stage of the Hildibrand Saga, as well as a new Deep Dungeon, Eureka Orthos, a successor to Palace Of The Dead and Heaven On High.

In addition to the patches, the game’s festive season event, the Starlight Celebration, is running until the 31st of December. The event gives players a chance to earn some limited edition items, including a new mount, the Starlight Steed.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Mac OSX and PC via Steam.
