Battle Planet - Judgement Day, it sounds like one intense action set piece with lots of chaos and blood, and that’s exactly right! Threaks is responsible for this brutal twin-stick, arcade shooter, and we are excited for every part of it.
We start off by dropping from a prisoner transport ship onto a micro-planet and then immediately have to fight for our lives. Players pick between three classes that have various perks, abilities, and upgrades. As players grow stronger and become more dealy on these planets, they will fight galactic police, dangerous robots and horrifying creatures.
One of the main selling points in this game is that all the micro planets and places to battle will be procedurally created. No two games will be identical and each game played can feel like a totally unique experience as different enemies come at you and as you grow in unique and new ways each playthrough. Battle Planet - Judgement Day sounds like a great arcade game to keep old school and new age players engaged we all fight for high scores and as players challenge themselves to surpass where they died before.
Along with smooth gameplay and a strong reason to play again, this game also looks really great. The gritty, yet colorful style works well with the gore and violence to make a really intense game that doesn’t look too cluttered or chaotic.
