Our First Look At HALO INFINITE Gameplay

Microsoft invites you to get back into the Spartan suit and save humanity one more time.

Halo is one of the most influential series of all time. Its single-player campaigns and online multiplayer are hallmarks in video game history and were iconic moments for many gamers, myself included.

Now, the legendary series returns with the Halo Infinite. It’s coming in the holiday season of 2020 alongside the release of next-gen consoles, specifically the Xbox Series X.

The Xbox Games Showcase has given us our first big look at the gameplay for the next-gen title, and it’s bringing back a lot of memories.

When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief is ready to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced.

I can just imagine some gruff admiral extolling the virtues of the human fleet that combats the alien forces threatening the future of humanity.

And I can’t wait to play this game on the Xbox Series X.

The gameplay here was captured in real-time on the Xbox Series X and represents what gamers can expect of next-gen gaming. It’s running at 60FPS and up to 4K resolution. Players with Xbox Game Pass can play Halo Infinite on launch day and it will be available for the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 through the Microsoft Store and Steam.
