POKEMON: LET'S GO, PIKACHU/EEVEE Gameplay Revealed At E3

While many players were concerned with the new Pokemon, Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokemon, Let's Go Eevee! games coming out on November 16, 2018 due to the announcement of there not being wild Pokemon battles can finally be at ease. During the Nintendo E3 conference, they revealed thirty minutes of gameplay for players to see exactly what the games will hold. While we already knew it takes place in the classic Kanto region, we can see that the multiplayer aspect and Pokemon GO style Pokemon catching mechanics being implemented doesn't mean that there is no combat.

As they walk around the world, you can see the Pokemon visibly hiding in the grass. Turns out they don't hide as well as the previous games would have us think, but this is the reason there are no random wild Pokemon interactions. The only time it would be a surprise wild Pokemon encounter is because you aren't paying attention to your surroundings.

As far as combat goes, it was good to see that you can in fact battle other Pokemon trainers. I think it is more fitting that when we encounter a wild Pokemon, the focus is around catching them, and when we encounter another trainer, the focus is around battling. Check the gameplay footage out for yourself:

It's good to see that they are going to allow other Pokemon to follow you as well as your main Pokemon, Pikachu or Eevee. Not only that, it was interesting to see how the two player aspects work in action and how easy it is for players to play with each other. This is looking to be the best Pokemon game in the series and takes out the battle grind that left hundreds of Pokemon fainted in the wild as you continue to improve your own.

How do you feel about the gameplay that will be available in Pokemon, Let's Go Pikachu! and Pokemon, Let's Go Eevee!?
