POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON RESCUE TEAM DX Is Coming To Switch This March!

In 2006, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team games were released for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS systems in Japan. In 2020, these titles will gain a new life on Nintendo Switch.

Well, one of the last things I expected to see from today’s Pokemon Direct was news about a remake of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team but, here we are. This is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX a remake of those original titles from the GBA/DS days of 2006. Back then there were two versions of the game with Pokemon exclusive to each but DX seems to be a complete package of sorts with both games content included. A complete graphical overhaul has also been done and I am digging the paint like aesthetic from the brief snippets shown in the trailer. The last time we saw a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon title was back in 2016 when Red/Blue Rescue Team re-released on the Wii U Virtual Console. A demo of the title is now available for anyone hoping to try out Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX before its March 6th release date.

What do you all think of a remake to the original Pokemon Mystery Dungeon titles?
