As one of 2022’s most anticipated games, as well as one of GameTyrant’s Top 10 strategy games to look forward to in 2022, it’s exciting to see a game finalize a release date. Although developers Firaxis Games and 2K had originally announced an October release date, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will officially be released in December - just in time to be a 2022 title as promised.
This much-anticipated card-based tactical action RPG title released two new trailers that gave a look into the gameplay and unveiled the announcement of upcoming prequel shorts to start released on October 31st. These shorts will be a set of five short videos that provide backstory on how Lilith became the Mother of Demons, and how Super Heroes like Blade, Magik, Ghost Rider, and Nico Minoru came together to form the young core of the Midnight Suns. These Pequel Shorts are being animated by the talented teams at Sun Creature Studio and DIGIC Pictures.
In this game, players play as a new and customizable Marvel character, The Hunter, where they will lead a powerful team of supernatural Super Heroes facing growing unholy threats and experience a tactical Marvel game unlike any other. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will officially release on December 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games. It will also be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at a later date. Interested players can pre-order the game on all platforms right on the Midnight Suns website.
