Surely enough, the introduction of new updates has kept the game relevant and has attracted new players even after three years after Rainbow Six's release. Last August, Ubisoft announced that the game reached a total of 20 million players and by December 2017, it had reached 25 million. Now, Rainbow Six Siege has over 30 million registered players, and Ubisoft is committed to bringing more content updates in the future. Looking ahead, Ubisoft said that the “development team’s vision is to bring 100 operators to the game for years to come.”
