RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 Made $725 Million Over The Weekend

Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 has seen one of the biggest opening weekend in history as the game managed to sell over $725 million copies in a span of three days. It is worth noting that Red Dead 2’s opening sales is just the second-highest grossing entertainment launch, which is still held by Grand Theft Auto V, another Rockstar Games title.

Rockstar Games did not disclose the exact number of copies that were sold over the weekend, but it is estimated that the studio was able to push more than 10 million units. Moreover, Red Dead Redemption 2 has smashed records for the PlayStation as the game managed to have the largest launch sales on the PlayStation Network and it also holds the record of the most pre-ordered game of all time on the platform.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
