After releasing their initial open beta just a couple of months ago, developers Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack were surprised to see a turn out of over 350,000 downloads in just one week for their upcoming game Mortal Shell. Not only did it surpass their expectations of players, it even got more than six million views across Twitch and YouTube! This kind of turn out inspired them to set the official release date for Mortal Shell to be on August 18th for PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
To celebrate and properly announce this release date, they have provided a new trailer for the game. In this trailer we see a new weapon being used, in fact, it is the first time showcasing their ranged weapon called the Ballistazooka. This is a weapon that is powerful enough to impale enemies and pin them onto nearby structures. Along with this new weapon showcase, we are given a glimpse at the fearsome adversaries, the stunning landscapes, and the mysterious fourth Shell, Solomon.
