We are finally getting the main information that anticipating horror fans have been waiting for when it comes to the strange game from Ebb Software. The release date window for their first-person horror adventure title Scorn has been revealed! Sometime in October 2022, players will be able to venture into the nightmarishly biomechanical universe.
The trailer they made to reveal this release date shows us an interesting new environment and what looks to be a size comparison of our character to a statue-like figure. Ultimately, it invites speculation about the disturbing encounters awaiting players on their journey. Even as they tell is direct information, they have to maintain that shroud of unknown delicacy that every detail shown off for this game has held so far.
Scorn is set to release on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, so we may be seeing only next-gen level detail with this game. It’s a direction I suspect we can see happening more often as we get into 2022 after all and with the type of environment this game has shown to have… I don’t think any level of lesser graphics would do it justice.
