Fans of Resident Evil and other classic survival-horror titles probably already know about Daymare: 1998, but did you know that it is coming to consoles later this year? The game has been out on Steam since September of last year, but now those that play games from the comfort of their couches can enjoy this title in April.
Heavily inspired by the Resident Evil franchise and other classic survival-horror titles, Daymare: 1998 features the same mechanics seen in those titles. Players are forced to conserve ammo with scarce supplies, prioritize precious items over others with limited inventory space, and deal with various monsters, as they explore the dangerous environment and hunt for clues in order to solve puzzles that block their path.
Daymare: 1998 follows the perspective of three different characters that are all experiencing the same “Daymare”… Sorry, I just couldn’t resist. The game will be available to purchase on PS4 and Xbox One on April 28, 2020.
