How many of you were surprised by this? The fact that Rockstar Games are delaying the release of one of their games. We've historically been informed of delays on their games so much that this has become quite common. However, if you look at the quality of their games, Grand Theft Auto 5 as an example, aren't you glad? When Rockstar announces a delay, we should all be joyously lifting our hands up in the air and waving them around like we just don't care.
Snarkiness aside, Rockstar has once again given us a valid reason, I feel, as to why Red Dead Redemption 2 will be delayed.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to launch Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.
And I agree. With the latest console generation available for a few years now, I expect nothing but the best PS4 and Xbox One quality. So please, Rockstar, take the extra time to bring that to us. I will just fire up the first RDR on my Xbox360 and replay it again in the meantime.
Rockstar has given us some screenshots so long to console us. Thanks Rockstar.
