After its acquisition of 11 studios in the last 3 years, NACON has picked up Session's developer creā-ture Studios. Founding directors Marc-André Houde and Vincent Da Silva will continue to lead the creā-ture team as they continue their work. This acquisition will reportedly allow the dev team to focus on the creativity side of production while NACON’s teams focus on the editorial and marketing support side of things.

"We are delighted to join the NACON group, which has more than 30 years of experience in the sector. This is a great opportunity to accelerate our development and offer ever more exciting games", said Marc-André Houde and Vincent Da Silva, founding directors of creā-ture Studios.

Session, which was originally set to release on PC and Xbox One (currently on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview), is going to launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC once the full product is ready to ship. While there still is no announced release date, it’s exciting to see PlayStation consoles getting to join in on this skateboarding title as well.

NACON has been a pretty big player in the gaming industry, and the last year or so has really proven that they’ wanna make a splash. They’re constantly churning out intriguing titles and their purchase of the RIG brand is a big notch in their belt. It’ll be interesting to see what they’ll do next.
