Solo Project From The Creator Of Crab Rave, CRAB CHAMPIONS, Claws Its Way To Steam Early Access Later This Year

Noisestorm, the creator behind the viral hit Crab Rave, is in the development process of his solo project, Crab Champions. The game is a fast-paced, third-person perspective shooter, where the protagonist is (you guessed it) a crab. The release date was revealed in the most recent gameplay trailer for the upcoming Early Access title provided above.

Crab Champions will feature three different game modes—Survival, Duel, and Racing.

Up to four players can team up in Survival mode, as they battle hostile enemies among the increasingly difficult islands, and obtain loot and upgrades from the treasure chests scattered about.

One to six players can battle it out on small, balanced maps in the fast-paced Duel mode. Whether you are playing 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 matches, the first team to win 5 rounds takes home the trophy. Custom games will also be available so players can create their own rule-set.

The Racing mode is a large departure when compared to the other 2 game-modes. With the removal of weapons, the goal is to race across islands with the fluid movement system in order to set a new personal best. 1-4 player co-op will also be available in this mode.

Crab Champions will be available later this year on August 20th, via Steam Early Access. If you wish to stay up to date with the development of the upcoming title, you can follow the game on YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter. You can also wishlist the game on Steam, so you can be notified when it officially launches.
