From the same developers that brought us Dead Space, the next chapter in the space horror genre has been revealed during The Game Awards 2020. Striking Distance Studios and KRAFTON unveiled The Callisto Protocol with an awesome cinematic trailer! Said to be taking on an all-new perspective on the genre, we will see this game hit both PC and consoles sometime in 2022, unfortunately.
This time we will be on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320. Our goal won’t be to aid the ship in any way, but rather escape the maximum-security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. That’s pretty much all we know so far, but the anticipation mounts thanks to the team’s history and that they claim to be aiming to set a new bar for horror in interactive entertainment.
