Strategic Indie Social Deduction Game PROJECT PLANET: EARTH VS HUMANITY Releases Soon

Some exciting news for gamers out there who enjoy social deduction games, a new indie game from developers Fifth Harbour Studios are releasing the new game Project Planet: Earth vs Humanity into the gaming scene this September. Time to embark on an out-of-this-world party gaming experience! This strategic party game invites players to either destroy humanity as Earth or join forces with friends to ensure humanity’s survival.

Set in motion during the pandemic, Project Planet: Earth vs Humanity draws inspiration from real-world scenarios but adds a twist, the player becomes a pivotal member of the unfolding drama.

As part of the game’s premise, players will face a challenging decision. They can take on the role of Earth, seeking to reduce the human population to zero through a virus outbreak, asteroid impact, or other destructive means. Alternatively, players can band together with up to five friends, each assuming one of five critical roles: World Leaders, Industry, Media, Scientists, or the Public, all to survive the impending disasters and the wrath of Earth.

Project Planet: Earth vs Humanity is playable both solo and multiplayer. While it can be enjoyed alone,it is designed for multiplayer. Players can invite up to five friends to join in for free, with no additional controllers or apps required. Just one copy of the game is sufficient for an entire group to play. Friends wishing to join the owner can use any web-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or PC, to participate in the game, with their browser serving as the controller

Here are some key features players can look forward to:

  • Party up! - Enjoy a 1 vs 5 party game where you unleash Earth's fury or try to survive a wide range of disasters as Humanity. Only one copy is needed to entertain a group of up to 6 players.

  • Pick a side - Destroy Humanity with virus outbreaks, asteroid impacts, and more as Planet Earth, or play as one of 5 Humanity roles, each with unique gameplay and impossible dilemmas that come close to real-life parallels.

  • Work together - Use abilities to cooperate with other players, or punish those who don’t act in the group’s (or your own) best interest! But remember to pursue your own goals. In the end, there can only be one winner!

  • No two games are the same - Branching narratives create limitless ways to experience disasters.
