The Game Awards Opens The Players Choice Award Voting Poll

As they do every year, The Game Awards has opened the voting poll for the only award that is 100% selected by the players themselves. The Players Choice Award is voted on through multiple rounds to help shrink down the nominated games to only the top choices from the past year. In 2021, the list of thirty games they had up for Round 1 consisted of high-end titles to indies that earned their traction.

If you missed out on Round 1, then be sure to high tail it over to The Game Awards website and get your vote in for Round 2! In this round, starting today, December 5th, players will be able to choose five titles from the top ten games that were selected during Round 1. Round 2 will end on December 6th so that the final round can take place on December 7th. During Round 3, players will only get to vote on one game from the remaining five titles that have been selected from the original thirty games.

Along with voting for this specific award, don’t forget to head over to the nomination list and vote on the other thirty categories that awards will be handed out for! All voting ends on December 8th to allow preparation time for The Game Awards ceremony on December 9th at 8pm EST.
