The time has come. A moment 25 years in the making has led Bethesda to this reveal. Starfield was officially announced today at Xbox + Bethesda’s Game Showcase, giving fans a small glimpse at what this new IP has to offer. Touted as the next-generation in role-playing games, Starfield will take players across the stars for an adventure that’ll allow them to explore with unparalleled freedom.
As with the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, players will also be allowed to create any character they want to use on their journey. Bethesda had been working on this game for so long with the hopes that one day, consoles and PCs would be able to handle exactly what they wanted to achieve, and the day has finally come. Using Creation Engine 2, Starfield is going to push the limits of our gaming hardware to new heights as we search the galaxy for humanity’s greatest mystery.
Before the show today, there was a leak that exposed the release date of 11.11.22.. In the above trailer, we get the confirmation that it is indeed true, which really drove the hype up to 10. It’s an ambitious game that is sure to have fans and the press hungry for more as we continue to move towards November 11, 2022. I can’t wait to see some gameplay!
Starfield arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11, 2022. The best part, it comes to Xbox Game Pass on Day 1. You couldn’t ask for a better way to start an E3 conference. What a day.
