PS Plus games for June have released a bit differently than usual. The first game for the month of June to be revealed was Call of Duty WWII and it was given out as soon as it was announced in celebration of Memorial Day. But the second game remained a mystery until today. Rumors have been floated around that the second game for June could potentially be either Spider-Man or Star Wars Battlefront II due to leaked advertising materials for each. Well, it turns out it is the latter as Battlefront II has just been officially confirmed as the second game for June! Beginning June 2, all PS Plus subscribers will be able to download Battlefront II for free.
Battlefront II has just received its last content update as DICE has gone all-in on the next iteration of the Battlefield franchise. Despite its rocky start, Battlefront II has grown into a solid multiplayer game and one I have personally spent hours playing.
