Have you always wanted to try out some prerelease demos like the kind that would appear at events like PAX or E3? Well, now is your chance with the Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo Event! Starting today and going until July 27th, nearly 100 demos are going to be available to download and try for a ton of upcoming releases. All demos will be accessible from the Xbox One dashboard and titles will be added throughout the week. The biggest games that initially draw my eye are Cris Tales, Destroy All Humans, and Bite the Bullet.
With COVID-19 continuing to shut down events, this is the next best thing we could have hoped for to getting preview access to upcoming games. For anyone who hasn’t had a chance to try a pre-release demo before, I am excited for you all to experience this! Do note that many of these demos will be pretty rough so you could easily experience crashes or a variety of errors that wouldn’t normally be found in a post-release demo.
