While some publishers like to create games based on animes, it's nice to finally see one taking notice of where animes come from; comics. From the creators of Darksiders, THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate have teamed up to develop Battle Chasers: Nightwar, a game based on the 90’s comic “Battle Chasers."
Battle Chasers: Nightwar mixes together dungeon crawling with JRPG turn-based combat. The game will be a story driven experience that will bring you to know the characters from the series. Check out the cinematic trailer:
Planning to launch on Nintendo Switch this coming May 15th, and already available on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, Battle Chasers: Nightwar will take players through various challenges and enemies. There are even special trailers to show off some of the combat skills from each of the characters on THQ Nordic's YouTube.
This game looks like it has more to offer than they are willing to show, but at least we know there is a classic comic series we can read if the wait for May 15th becomes too long. Are you already a fan of the classic comic series Battle Chasers? How excited are you to see a game launching for this comic series?
