Riot Games is bringing Episode 7 Act 1 of Valorant very soon! Valorant is a free-to-play 5v5 character-based tactical FPS game. The new update will bring additional content including a new game mode, updates to the daily challenges, and new in-game currency.
Episode 7 Act 1 will bring Team Deathmatch (TDM) into Valorant’s arsenal of game modes. It will be set up like the traditional 5v5 that you’re used to in a normal match but it's not an economy-based weapon buy. The new TDM mode will be first to 100 kills to win with 4 timed stages with different weapon classes to choose from. Stage 1 is pistols and you will have access to the frenzy, the classic, and the ghost. Stage 2 you will gain access to the ares, stinger, and the sheriff. Stage 3 will give you the bulldog, guardian, specter, and ares. Then in stage 4, you will finally gain access to the phantom and vandal. During all the rounds there will also be weapon spawners that will spawn in more powerful weapons for use. Since there is no economy to worry about your abilities are set to a cool down and there will be Ultimate Orbs to pick up along the way. There are new maps being added with familiar styles from the maps already in place.
The in-game progression system is also getting a revamp that will bring new ways to earn your favorite rewards! The update will include reworked daily missions, which will introduce new daily milestones called Checkpoints. In addition, there will be new free in-game currency called Kingdom Credits that will be available to unlock various accessories, agent recruitments, and more.
Valorant is free-to-play on PC available directly on the Riot Client, and now available with additional content on PC Game Pass. The new update will be available to everyone on June 27th.
