In what would be one of the biggest upsets of EVO 2017, MVG Salem staged an epic comeback against top ranked Super Smash Bros Wii-U champion ZeRo to win the championship. The final seconds showed Salem on the ropes with ZeRo firmly in control when a misplay allowed Salem to flip the script and take the set in an epic fashion. Take a look:
That's a rough way to end it for ZeRo but there's still plenty of opportunities for the number one Smash Wii-U player to declare dominance in 2017. Congrats to Salem and we hope to see him at GT-X for what could be an epic rematch with ZeRo who is already registered for the event.
