The 2020 aerial combat game, The Falconeer is officially coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles next month. The game was originally released in October for PC and the Xbox family of consoles and was nominated for ‘Debut Game’ for the 2021 BAFTA Game Awards. This version of the game is called The Falconeer: Warrior Edition and includes not just the base game but all of its updates and available DLC.

Another important piece is the fact that this version will also grant you access to the upcoming “Edge of the World” content. Edge of the World is a brand-new expansion that adds 3 mini-gam campaigns as well as 9 missions. You’ll get to visit Mongress Mawsprings, an exotic new area exclusive to Edge of the World. This new place holds ancient secrets that are sure to spice up the gameplay.

This expansion has 2 exclusive Legendary Ace classes and mounts as well. The new classes are the Arbiter and the Corsair which go alongside the new mounts, the Fenix and the Pteron. There’s also a new weapon, the Imperial Shocklance which is an electrical weapon that gives you the ability to wipe out multiple enemies at once. The level cap for your character can now go up to 24 from the previous cap of 20 as well.

The Warrior Edition of the game will not be released on PC or Xbox consoles. But don’t worry because the Edge of the World DLC will also be sold seperately.

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition releases on August 5th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
