In a blog post earlier today Xbox announced that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive monthly perks for Halo Infinite as a part of their subscription. The first of these rewards is a bundle that features an exclusive weapon skin and four in-game challenge swaps and experience boosts each.
This is the first time Game Pass Ultimate perks will include ongoing benefits for a particular game, bringing Game Pass Ultimate in line with services like the Fortnite Crew or Twitch Prime. Halo Infinite players can expect the first Ultimate perk pack to arrive on December 8th, Infinite’s official launch date.
Halo Infinite surprise launched on November 15th as a part of the 20th anniversary Xbox celebration. The drop was leaked ahead of time, but conflicting information and backpedaling from some of the original leakers led to the release still being an effective surprise.
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta will end with the game’s official launch on December 8th which coincides with the first Game Pass Ultimate perk pack. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is available now for free on all Xbox consoles, PC via Steam and the Xbox App, and on mobile devices via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
