Some awesome news just dropped for fans of League of Legends and its many spinoffs made and developed by Riot Games! At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase it was announced that Riot and Xbox would be teaming up and all of Riot’s various games would join Xbox Game Pass along with some fantastic benefits for Game Pass members! Each one of Riot’s games would come with a unique bonus as follows:
League of Legends - Available on PC
The OG, the big daddy of all MOBAs. All 160 champions are unlocked for the account connected to your Game Pass and every future champion will unlock as they release as well!
League of Legends: Wild Rift - Available on Mobile
League’s little mobile brother, much like the PC version, you will have access to all champions currently available in the game, as well as all future champions as they get added from the main game!
Legends of Runeterra - Available on PC and Mobile
A card game spinoff of League of Legends, with Game Pass you unlock the complete Foundations Set! The Foundations Set was the first set of cards in the game and is a great starting point for new players, but less impressive than having all champions unlocked like the two previous games.
Teamfight Tactics - Available on PC and Mobile
An auto-battler spinoff of League of Legends, TFT has come to define the genre. A much more cosmetic option, Game Pass members will get access to a rotation of Tier One Little Legend avatars.
Valorant - Available on PC
So far the only game Riot has produced not based in the world of Runeterra, Valorant is a 5v5 first-person shooter that plays like a mix of CS:GO and Overwatch. Much like League of Legends, members will get access to all current 18 agents and all future ones on release!
In addition, across all titles, players will get bonus experience which will help all the new players coming in from Game Pass! So for anyone who has a Game Pass account or is interested in any of Riot Games’ catalog, now is a perfect time to try them out without having to sink a metric ton of cash into unlocking all the champions, cards, or agents!
