In an interesting announcement, Netflix has revealed a trailer for the next iteration of Resident Evil to hit their platform. While it doesn’t seem to be based on any of the video games, this trailer shows a representation of everything Capcom’s Resident Evil series is known for, but this time things are bound to be a bit different.
Over the last few years, fans of the Resident Evil series have been experiencing some big changes in the games themselves as well. With a change of perspective, new locations, new characters, and a bunch of wildly disconcerting aspects and details learned with more to still be revealed. This live-action portrayal of the series is going to, once again, introduce us to some new characters and locations, so there is bound to be a bit of new lore involved as well.
This Resident Evil live-action hasn’t been specified to be a movie or a series, but it’s hitting the Netflix streaming platform on July 14th. Are you ready to renew that membership for a new take on this beloved classic horror series?
